Knowing a thing or two about festivals himself, Kingston, Ontario, Canada’s, Del Vezeau founded the Canadian Guitar Festival back in 2004. Having released two instrumental records, Del now operates a campground where he hosts his annual festival.
Del recorded the trippy “Appearances Lie,” his CXCW debut, at a beach house in the Republic of Panama, where he may or may not be able find his favorite flavor of ice cream, butterscotch. The song speaks to the positions of the right leaning political spectrum, where it was, is, and might be headed. “It’s a cold day here in hell and we’re falling neatly into line.”
