Gabe Wootton – Old Song

There is nothing I respect more than 1. a person that can do stuff around the house aka being all around handy, and 2. a guy/gal that can sing a sweet heartbreaking tune. Sadly, my father taught me neither skills, although I can play 3 chords which equals the truth, from what I am told. Here we have Texan, Gabe Wooten, doing mud work – I have no idea what that is – and then taking time to sit on a 5 gallon bucket of mud to sing a song that, if you have any heart at all, it will probably break.

  1. Dammit, I feel so inadequate. Gabe can hang and spackle drywall, sing a song, and create a piece of furniture out of a 5 gallon mud bucket. I can barely check the mail without tripping over a shoelace.

  2. Dammit, Gabe, that was a fine tune. Definitely worth having to go directly to YouTube, enter passwords, capchas (or whatever the hell they’re called) and proving I was worthy to listen to the faceless YouTube rulers. I’d do it all again, if I had to. Good work.
