Purveyors of fine mountain music, Indian Run Stringband return to CXCW with two rollicking performances from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Blacksburg, Virginia. Indian Run Stringband is Paul Herling (fiddle), Ginger Wagner (banjo), Mark Barbour (guitar), and Kristie Dorfler (bass fiddle), they play old-time tunes learned from musicians young and old, from recordings from the golden age of country music, at fiddlers conventions, late-night jam sessions, house parties and informal get-togethers. They are joined by Miles, the yawning golden retriever back there, who is thrilled to be making his CXCW debut.
