Irish Showcase: Biggles Flys Again – A Beginning Not An Ending

Biggles Flys Again returns to the Irish Showcase. Tony Fitz says:

Biggles Flys Again make intelligent pop music with a lo-fi DIY spirit from their home in Dublin, Ireland. In 2013 they self-released their debut album Remember Saturday. Remember Saturday sounds like one of those great pop albums you used to listen to and there are several reasons why. The first and most obvious one is that the man behind the moniker, Conor Deasy, is especially adept at crafting 3 minute pop gems. Secondly Remember Saturday was recorded with the aid of instruments from a forgotten era, namely Casio and Yamaha Keyboards, a Hammond organ, and a BBC Neve recording console. The album received a glowing critical response and was named The Sunday Times Album of the Week.”
