Lady Dandelion is an Amsterdam based duo consisting of violinist Sietse van Gorkom and singer/actress Kirsten Berkx. After spending some time looking for a singer/writer for his melancholic beats, Sietse found that in the young singer Kirsten. In the past 2 years they wrote about 20 songs inspired by the music of Massive Attack, Tricky, Portishead and Bjork. The 26th of October they released their debut album titled “Funambulism”. Produced by Van Gorkom and presented in Amsterdam. With “Funambulism”, a collection of songs about hope, love, loneliness and balancing on the edge combined with vivid triphop beats, Lady Dandelion wants to love, sting, wrench and hold onto it.Take you to the edge.To jump over, walk past it of sit and watch it from a distance.
