Rushmore Beekeepers – Breathe Easy / Just Passing By / What it’s Like to be Sad

Perhaps scared off by the couch crab in his first CXCW video, Zach Fountain returns on a portable couch in his Austin backyard with pup Kyla and three more Rushmore Beekeepers songs.

In case you were wondering, that’s an octave mandolin handmade by woodworker/luthier Eric Bevel that Zach plays on “Breathe Easy.” Kyla, sensing the zombie apocalypse theme of “What it’s Like to be Sad,” plays protector and adds backing vocals.

  1. This kid and his dog have a serious travelling compulsion;i mean, you can hear the highway ripping through these songs, and, like, look what kind of fence it takes to keep that dog from tearing off and hitting the road!

  2. We do love traveling and exploring, Art! And yes, it takes quite a fence to keep her from running off. Thank you for listening!

  3. Breathe Easy still one of my favorites Zach!looking forward to the next generation of Beekeepers songs!
