Robert Loss does not reside in New Jersey as his blatant product placement would have you believe. Rather, the former member of The Wells resides in Columbus, Ohio, and now spends his time with what was once a side project, The Blind Engineer. Writing “idiosyncratic (or idiotic) folk songs meshed with whatever seems right,” Robert sent us two songs from the Buckeye State (NCAA National Champs!): “Cross the Break” from an album he hopes to release later this year, and “Utah,” a song from his album Black-Letter Ballads, vol. 2.
