The Social No. 11 – Silver Lake

I hang out with this group of troublemakers, so I’ll let them tell you about themselves and their band:

Thank you to the folks at CXCW for having us back for our third consecutive year.

The band name? The Social No. 11 is a woodstove that dates back to about 1910. We play music and generally hang out around a Social No. 11 in a shack in Arlington, MA, (outside of Boston) most Sunday nights. So, we call this Northern Country project The Social No. 11.

Now you know!

Silver Lake in New Hampshire is our muse for this tune. The cool clear waters have called us back again and again to imbibe and play guitars with friends. Leaving the rest of life behind, you just may find us up at Silver Lake.

Leave us a note to let us know who you are and if you enjoyed our little tune. Leave an email address and we’ll add you to our email list.

If you’re nearby to Cambridge, MA or happen to be traveling through, come see us play outdoors at Mayfair in Harvard Square, Sunday, May 3 – 2p-4p

Jason Donnelly ~ Mandolin
Todd Bearson ~ Keys
David Whitford ~ Fiddle
Jonathan Shapiro ~ Lead Vocals/Guitar
Shady Hartshorne ~ Pedal Steel/Harmonies
Tom Robertson ~ Percussion/Harmonies
Moose Harvey ~ Bass
